O.T.WEST has been providing Occupational Therapy home visiting and home based rehabilitation services for more than 25 years. We pride ourselves on providing caring and client centred services and strive to support people and families to be active participants in their rehabilitation.
O.T.WEST provided Occupational Therapy services to St John of God Hospital Subiaco for over 20 years. As a result O.T.WEST is very experienced in delivering services to people with both acute and chronic health problems and in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
Our Principal Occupational Therapist and Director, Sharon Cannell brings 40 years of experience to the practice. Sharon specialises in neurological rehabilitation, dementia assessment and management, home assessments and modifications.
Our Occupational Therapists are highly qualified, with extensive knowledge and clinical experience in their areas of specialisation and are all registered with Australian Health Provider Registration Authority (AHPRA) and Medicare.
We can provide Telehealth appointments via phone or video if you prefer. Please inform our staff if you prefer these options. In some situations Telehealth appointments may be offered by our therapists for an initial consult or review. Department of Veteran Affairs funds Occupational Therapy Telehealth appointments.
